Melissa Baumann, CPA, serves as chief financial officer for Careington International Corporation and its affiliate companies, including Careington Benefit Solutions, DialCare and Munroe Sutton. Melissa has been with Careington for more than 35 years, bringing extensive expertise in tax compliance, financial reporting, treasury management, strategic finance and capital planning to her role.

As chief financial officer, Melissa is responsible for all fiduciary aspects of Careington and leads its Finance, Technology, Operations and Administration teams. She guides investments in technology, infrastructure and resources to drive growth across the Careington family of companies and to enhance the products, services and administrative solutions delivered to clients and customers. Her financial acumen and strategic vision contribute daily to strengthening Careington's position as a nationally recognized leader in the health and wellness benefits space. Her leadership extends beyond financial oversight; Melissa champions excellence, recognizes achievements at every level and drives sustainable growth.

Melissa serves as the treasurer of Consumer Health Alliance, the trade association of the noninsured, direct-pay model healthcare industry. She is also a board member of the nonprofit organization Families of WWII Veterans and is actively involved in her parish's Order of Christian Initiation for Adults.

Melissa was an honoree of the Dallas Business Journal 2021 CFO of the Year Awards.
