There are many decisions regarding long term care that can be difficult to make, and HealthCare Synergies provides access to high quality medical providers at a reduced price.
HSI carefully screens all prospective providers. The provider network continues to expand to meet the needs of our clients. Only those providers who meet our high standards are eligible to be included in the network. Before a provider is accepted into our network, we analyze and review data regarding licensure, general liability insurance coverage, service capabilities and quality management standards.

You cannot receive a negotiated rate from a Network provider from whom you are already receiving services at the time you become a member or that you are receiving services covered by Medicare, Medicaid, or workers compensation. Resources for Living (RFL) provides telephonic counseling and referral services to members to help balance their busy lives. A RFL counselor has a discussion with the member regarding the best services for their needs. The counselor does research and then provides the member with helpful, relevant information about services and programs in their area within three days. Members have access to real, workable solutions and answers to concerns about daily issues with the click of a button or phone call. askAFS services include access to accredited, certified financial counselors by way of a live telephonic counseling helpline and online information, educational and referral resources. Common issues include credit matters, tax questions, home financing, credit card debt, cash flow review, caring for elders, college planning, budgeting, retirement planning, vehicle purchase and many other individual and family financial concerns. askAFS has no products or services to sell.

Life Line Screening (LLS) is the leading international provider of community-based preventive health screenings. LLS provides affordable, convenient, high-quality screenings that are essential to the early detection of risk for stroke, heart disease, diabetes, osteoporosis and other conditions. These prevalent, serious conditions generally do not present symptoms until they are well-established and causing significant health problems. Fortunately, these conditions can be detected by quick, painless non-invasive tests utilizing ultrasound and other methods. LLS believes that preventive screenings and health promotion programs are the basic foundation to wellness and can improve an individual's quality of life while reducing overall health care costs.
Plan Description: Careington customers may select screenings to be obtained from Life Line Screening, and the customer will be responsible for paying LLS for the screenings selected in advance of receiving said screenings.
Life Line also offers self-administered tests for colon cancer and PSA, finger-stick blood tests for thyroid and liver function as well as a Disease prevention scorecard which combines biometric screening information and risk factors to predict the risk of developing any of six major chronic conditions in the next five years. The conditions are coronary heart disease, stroke, congestive heart failure, type 2 diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and lung cancer.
